Changing From the Near Side to the Offside with Match & Mirror – Lesson with Nadia & Belle
12.15 minutes – In this video Angie gives Nadia a lesson on combining the hindquarter yield with the forequarter yield when changing sides. At the start of the lesson Angie gives Nadia some tips on refining this exercise. She gets Nadia to keep walking forward in a small circle and also use her outside hand to help Belle finish off the forequarter yield. She then gets Nadia to do the exercise while walking beside Belle. Nadia starts on the offside doing match and mirror and then combines the hindquarter and forequarter yield so she ends up on the near side. They finish the lesson working on this exercise at the trot.
