Shoulder Control – Exercise 1 & Exercise 2
9.28 minutes – In this video John explains two shoulder exercises using two cones. The first exercise he refers to as Exercise 1. In this exercise he bends the horse’s nose into the circle. The second exercise he refers to as Exercise 2. In this exercise he rides a counter bend (horse’s nose bent to the outside of the circle). These exercises help teach a horse to relax and soften to leg and hand aids and soften and bend their body.
